Mara West/Lake Nakuru/Amboseli/Tsavo/fly or Drive
Hi ,we recently completed our Safari looking for new options in the best places in Kenya at the best value. Undoubtedly The Mara Triangle at this time of the year offers us the best game viewing for multitudes of animals large and small. For those that enjoy the "hunt" you will get your share of kills at this time of year, through to August September, due to the multitude of wildebeest and other animals and the prides of lion and crocodile that lie in wait for the migration.
The Migration is just a must see, at least once in a life time . For those that can absorb the vastness and color and diversity, plus bird life, Lake Nakuru Park is enormous value, a day or two there will amaze you and you still may not absorb it all. Then there is Amboseli National Park ,which is looking stunning at the moment, Elephants being the centre attraction along with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background.
This is just so easy, you arrive in Nairobi early a.m. connect to the Mara flight and in an hour you will be picked up and transported from the Airstrip to a lodge 20 mins away for Brunch and a clean up . Rest the day ,then go on a game drive in the afternoon for a couple of hours; just to get the feel of it and soak up the atmosphere and fresh air.
