Kilifi Creek
The creek is half an hour by road from Watamu and is partially developed both sides with residential homes; Mnarani Club and Kilifi Boatyard and beach bar; all represent the first ¾ of development along the creek. The creek is dotted with international yatchs as it's considered a calm harbour for sailors to have a break, refurbish their supplies and carry out maintenance on their boats. Kilifi town is situated along the creek and provides for limited shopping; cyber cafes; post office; government offices and a hospital. The creek has a number of top quality homes for rent or rooms to rent in beautiful locations facing the creek with sandy beaches below. There are water sports activities such as water skiing; sailing; creek cruises; snorkeling; diving and deep sea fishing.

Mtwapa Creek
Travelling south towards Mombasa Island, Mtwapa is half an hour away from Kilifi Creek and 20 minutes from Mombasa Island. This creeks is highly developed residentially on the seaward side but does have various activities for visitors who are staying in a number of beach hotels nearby. Apart from the residential establishments, there is Kenya Marine who provide daily dhow trips in the creek and lunch served at their restaurant, Aquamarine. There is a floating restaurant near the Mtwapa Bridge providing a venue not only for meals and drinks, as well as water skiing and cruises up the creek for sundowners.
